The International Organization of Folk Art (IOV) is a non-governmental organization in operational relations with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Had been released on March 1. IOV Indonesia Youth section had been officially become the member of IOV International, and will become the place for youth to share their idea about art, tradition and cultural heritage.

IIT Bombay festival – Mood Indigo Worldfest-2011
Mood Indigo Worldfest-2011 of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is one of the famous college festivals in India. It is a four-day festival and it allows the four international folk dance groups to participate in this festival for the first time in its 41-year history.
The four teams are from Indonesia, Turkey, Spain and Poland. The participation of the international teams making the IIT Bombay more privilege and it is seen as a world-class festival. Mood Indigo is the IIT Bombay’s annual festival and it is treated as Asia’s largest college festival.
Around 75,000 students from more than 500 colleges were participated in this festival. This festival occupies the better position in the world of arts, culture, dance, music and singing.
Mood Indigo sparkle the lake-side campus in Powai, Central Mumbai suburbs for four days of festival. Katowice, Poland’s student group comprised of 12 boys and 13 girls from the University of Silesia came to Mumbai on Tuesday.
This team has experience of performing in over 20 countries worldwide and presents events of Upper Silesia sporting traditional folk costumes. The other teams – Indonesia’s IOV Indonesia Youth Section (2 boys, 15 girls), Spain’s Ara De Madrid (6 boys, 22 girls) and Turkey’s Kleurrijke Dans (9 boys, 7 girls) came on Wednesday.
Shubhra Bhardwaj, the festival’s artistic director described about the motto of the festival as ‘Today’s Friendship for Tomorrow’s Peace’. Mood Indigo festival puts an international platform for the students to present their jobs.
She also said, “The idea of an international cultural festival is to create young minds that transcend borders and prejudices. Mood Indigo Worldfest-2011 will become a meeting point where hundreds of young talented individuals from many countries converge”.
The main thing of this festival is that to have fun, intermingle and exhibit their culture in a different way.
